Open Day - Free acting lesson in front of the camera

It is with great pleasure that we announce our newest open day at CinAct!

On Saturday 20 October we will be diligently opening the doors of our studio at the beautiful AED Filmstudios in Lint. We welcome everyone who is interested in acting in front of the camera between 10:00 and 16:00. You get the chance to taste some demonstration lessons for free. This way you immediately experience the unique way in which we provide acting training together with the current students.

The teachers, the students and the graduate actors present are available to you at all times to listen to your questions. They talk about their experiences with enthusiasm and are happy to discuss with you what a training course at CinAct can do for you.

This academic year we will start again with our tried and tested offer: basic training and follow-up modules, master classes and, of course, our guest lectures with professional actors from the Netherlands and abroad. In addition, from 2019 there will be our first summer school and as a student you can participate in an intensive acting weekend on location. And: from this year we will be working with an additional permanent teacher who will supervise the entire process. This gives more students the opportunity to participate in our training in a small and trusted group. The time to start your acting training, right?

9.30am Reception, drink and snack

10:00 am The CinAct training: teachers, vision and approach

10.30am Presentation of showreels and film projects in which our students participated in the past year

11h00 Demonstration lessons

Demo 1: focus training, learning to concentrate on your character (Bert Van Puyenbroeck)

Demo 2: facial expressions, micro-expressions on camera (Abbas Faessei)

12:30 You have to provide your own food.

1 pm to 4 pm meetup with teachers, students and graduate actors of CinAct And individual conversations.
