Our workshops
In addition to the regular courses, CinAct also provides a number of annual workshops. The offer may vary, but usually it involves educational trips in which the participants are immersed in the professional TV and film circuit. It goes without saying that our workshops always guarantee a lot of fun, exciting and adventurous experiences! Below the 2017 offer.

Workshop Academy Awards
Los Angeles & Las Vegas 2018
Overview

Every year CinAct provides a workshop to L.A. and Vegas - respectively the world's most important film city and the most important entertainment city on this planet.
​
In Los Angeles the emphasis is on acting lessons by both the acting teachers of CinAct and top teachers from Los Angeles.
​
You will attend two days at an acting school on Sunset Boulevard and you will also receive lessons from a casting director who works for Hollywood during a third day. You also get the chance to follow up the Oscars up close.
​
In Vegas you also learn more about the shows there and you can try and convince a famous talent agent.
Here the complete program (this can be adjusted and varied over the years).

Price: 3,250 euros. This price includes: air travel, stay, breakfast, lunch package, all local transport costs, lessons and all shows.

• Day 5: Lesson in one of the most famous improv schools in Los Angeles, the evening Academy Award pre-event for 2 or a show.

• Day 6: Lesson from a casting agent from Hollywood, the evening Academy Award pre-event for 2 or a show.

Day 7: Lesson from a casting agent from Hollywood, the evening Academy Award pre-event for 2 or a show.

• Day 8: Academy Night! We are opposite and above the red carpet, so you can see everyone arriving from the hotel - or you choose to watch the presentation in group at another location! Also 3 hours of lessons.

• Day 9: Departure for Las Vegas, guided tour of the city, evening party. 3 hours of lessons during the day..
​
• Day 10: Visit of a talent agent with an agency in Vegas, Los Angeles and Seoul. This visit can also happen in L.A. and we all go to dinner together. 3 hours of lessons during the day, a show and a party in the evening.

• Day 11: Day in Las Vegas with shows and relaxation.
​
• Day 12: back to Belgium on 8 april!
Workshop Cannes Filmfestival
Overview

Do you want to get to know the film industry better - or do you want to experience the most important film festival in the world?
​
The Cannes Film Festival is without a doubt the most important, most important film festival in the world - and certainly the most prestigious.
​
In Cannes, the focus is on getting to know the film world itself. You are guaranteed intensive lessons from the acting teachers of CinAct, but we mainly focus on everything that is going on during the festival and that is a lot.
​
During our workshop you will take the entire film festival as a professional, which is a completely different experience.
​
Price: 2950 euros. This price includes: air travel, stay, breakfast, lunch package, all local transport costs, lessons and all shows. Whoever follows the workshop to Los Angeles and Las Vegas will receive an attractive discount.
​
Duration: 8 days and 7 nights
Day planning
​
On May 8, 2018 : we welcome you in Cannes. We meet at La Croisette, before the entrance to the film festival.
Together we first collect our professional badges. With this you can:
- take a look at any of the biggest venues in the film festival for free.
- get access in the palais itself. Important to know: access is PROHIBITED here without a professional badge
- gain access to the pavilions. Again: access is FORBIDDEN without a professional badge. Each pavilion belongs to another country or a small association of countries that work together.
- easier access to one of the luxurious nightly parties organized every evening at the water's edge.
During our exciting stay, you will also get 4x intensive action lessons for film and TV from the acting teachers of CinAct. That is 12 hours of lessons.
That way you learn, but you also have enough time to get to know the festival.
On 23 May 2018 you fly back home.
We also offer an option to stay there longer, but that is only possible with clear prior agreements.
